The successful candidate will lead and manage a multi-disciplinary technical team in the delivery of telecommunication billing services and associate recovery activities.
Role responsibilities:
- Apply expert knowledge of QITC Contract management practices and lead all telecommunications contract management services.
- Contribute to the service delivery management of the telecommunications portfolio by providing technical advice, direction, reports and recommendations on the performance of all telecommunications service offerings.
- Ensure staff have the capability to carry out functions relevant to their role including:
- Knowledge of eHealth Queensland's IT Service Management processes
- Knowledge of defined enterprise service levels
- Sharing of knowledge and skills across technical domains
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the unit's workforce and operational business plans.
- Proactively manage contracts with external technical service providers to meet defined service levels.
- Manage the dedicated assets that support the designated portfolio of services.
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under ‘Key Responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams in a strategic delivery, operation and support of enterprise infrastructure within a large, complex and distributed organisation with a strong focus on service excellence (NHS: Leading change through people)
- Proven understanding and high-level current knowledge of a broad range of information and communication technologies including telecommunication service delivery and practices and their application in complex large-scale operational environments (SFIA: EMRG Level 5)
- Proven high level analytical skills and ability to translate business application issues into ICT infrastructure requirements (SFIA: ITOP Level 4)
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people including senior business and technical stakeholders to make decisions (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
Specific Working Conditions:
- Participating in on-call arrangements may be a requirement of this position, appropriate remuneration under the Award will apply
- This position may be required to work at different sites.
