Transport - Key Account Services Coordinator. Mascot NSW

Are you ready to take on a dynamic and rewarding role? Toll Global Forwarding is seeking a dedicated and results-driven professional to join our team as a Transport – Key Account Services Coordinator. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for driving operational excellence, maximising profitability, and delivering exceptional service to our corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Manage cartage providers daily to adhere to agreed KPIs and prepare timeslot bookings through nominated providers.

  • Prepare and process shipment documentation and coordination of carrier payments and delivery order releases as well as identify control levels for chain of responsibility within the workplace.

  • Maintain communication with carriers, customers, and internal departments to resolve any shipment issues and provide updates on shipment status.

  • Negotiate freight rates with carriers to secure cost-effective shipping options with the Transport Manager.

  • Monitor and track shipment progress, providing real-time updates to stakeholders.

  • Address and resolve any issues that arise during the transportation process, such as delays or discrepancies.

Key Skills and Qualifications -

  • 3+years in global freight forwarding with transport experience.

  • Experience using CargoWise preferable.

  • Ability to communicate clearly the value Toll can deliver to business outcomes and the customer.

  • Demonstrated Global forwarding operations & market (i.e. Competitors, carriers, clients & services) and local logistics market knowledge.

  • Strong interpersonal/ problem solving/ planning and negotiation/diplomacy skills.
