Senior Data Analyst

Description:

The position is responsible for:
* Leading the development, peer review and publication of internal and external dashboards using PowerBI. This includes liaising with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, undertake data manipulation (SQL extraction, DAX scripting….), and develop automated pipelines (Power Automate, Azure Data Factory…) and relevant documentation.
* Providing expert advice on how to strategically develop the Business Intelligence capability to adapt to new business requirements. This includes undertaking strategic assessment of the existing capability, identify areas for best practice implementation, and implement improvements initiatives under limited supervision.
* Providing expert advice to the Energy division on visualisation and reporting opportunities, and deliver sound, timely and fit for purpose analytical reports and statistical analysis using tools like PowerBI, or R.

This is a 12-month fixed term position. The work location for this position is 570 Bourke Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
