An Opportunity


Luther College seeks to appoint the services of an experienced and enthusiastic classroom Teacher, Chinese and English as an Additional Language (EAL) to join our talented learning team, commencing on Monday 12 May 2025 until Wednesday 10 December 2025 This is a fixed term, full-time teaching position (part time of 0.8 FTE is negotiable).


The successful candidate will have a high level of understanding and experience of restorative practices and psychology of positive education that enhance student engagement in alignment with pedagogical and wellbeing practices which will play a key role in supporting students developing their language skills in a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.

You are a teacher who is always learning and improving your practice, passionate about supporting students to become independent in their learning. A teacher who is committed to the holistic development of students in partnership with parents. A strong communicator with great interpersonal skills, you are aware of your impact on all community members and intuitively adjust your style to meet the needs of our students and families.
