Key Accountabilities

  • Driving process improvements and efficiencies while overseeing financial operations, financial transactions and providing essential financial analysis to achieve budget.
  • Lead the preparation of Department of Health and Aged Care budgets, multi-year forecast estimates and oversee financial reporting.
  • Maintain financial systems, controls, processes and reporting mechanisms ensuring financial compliance.
  • Assist the Director Finance and Reporting in the development of the Company’s Operating and Capital Budget and Mid-Year review financial reforecast.

About You

Our ideal candidate demonstrates a high degree of accountability and uses a ‘one team’ mindset to collaborate cross functionally to achieve budget and ensure the integrity of reporting.

Key Capabilities

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance or a related area of study; CPA, CA or equivalent accreditation / certification (essential).
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience in forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience with financial data systems, reporting tools and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to translate complex financial concepts across a range of audiences and communication channels.
  • Professional writing skills with an ability to produce high quality documents and briefing papers.
