About the Role:
The role of Accounts Receivable Officer / Financial Accountant is to perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts receivable transactions and assist with financial accounting tasks as required.
This is a full time role, however, there is potential for the successful candidate to work 4 days a week (to be negotiated).
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience within a high volume Accounts Receivable role, preferably within the education sector.
- Highly proficient in data entry with a strong attention to detail.
- Previous use of Synergetic highly beneficial.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to quality of service, with an ability to convey information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Intermediate competence in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong bookkeeping knowledge.
- Ability to work well in teams to the benefit of both your outcomes and the outcomes of others.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
Compliance Requirements:
- Working With Children Check ‘E’ card.
- Australian Childhood Foundation “Safeguarding Children” and all child safety requirements.
- DET Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations Training (annual update)
- Australian Jesuits Code of Conduct and acceptance of the Code (on appointment)
- First Aid accreditation including CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma Management.
