TroocooTroocoo Government are currently searching for experienced Senior Business Support Officers for a number of upcoming NSW State Government opportunities! The positions are full-time labour hire contracts, based in Sydney's CBD. Initial contracts vary in length and will look to pay between $400 - $500 per day + super (depending on experience).
The Opportunities
As the Senior Business Support Officer you will provide a range of support and administrative services that support the efficient and effective delivery of services within team. This includes monitoring of regulatory deliverables and due dates, drafting correspondence to regulators, supporting the preparation of regulatory responses, research, receiving and managing responses to inquiries and reviews, and maintaining accurate records.
The responsibilities include:
- Provide timely and flexible support to the team by undertaking support and administrative tasks and other duties including monitoring team mail box, scheduling meetings, taking minutes and actions from meetings, receiving inquiries and documenting key engagements.
- Monitoring of regulatory deliverables and due dates, and providing follow-up activities as needed.
- Respond to enquiries either by phone, in person or by email, often as the first point of contact, ensuring an accurate and timely response or where appropriate escalation to the appropriate person for resolution.
- Collate and distribute information, advice and escalate where necessary to the appropriate person for resolution or technical advice.
- Prepare reports for internal distribution, including undertaking research and collating of information where required.
- Supporting the preparation of regulatory responses through working with the business to ensure responses are appropriate and relevant for the regulator.
- Maintain accurate records and records information systems and functions for the team/business unit in accordance with records management policies and procedures and confidentiality/privacy requirements.
About You
To be considered a competitive applicant for the Senior Business Support Officer positions you would ideally bring the following:
- Previous experience as a Business Support Officer within a dynamic team is mandatory.
- Prior exposure to a NSW Public Sector environment is desirable .
- Ability to pass mandatory pre-employment checks (i.e. National Police Check, Reference Checks, etc.)
- An ability to commence on short notice, if required.
