Position Overview
The Chief Academic Officer/Dean serves as a key member of the Leadership Group and Executive Team reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer under the delegated authority of the Board of Directors. The Chief Academic Officer/Dean is responsible for upholding the academic integrity, scholarly conduct and output of AIM, while also overseeing the quality, sustainability and viability of academic offerings across all AQF levels ensuring alignment with relevant standards. Core responsibilities include overseeing academic outcomes, business development, student experience, quality and compliance and providing strategic leadership.

AIM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the development of new courses and drive a comprehensive enhancement of professional development. This role involves designing and implementing a strategic professional development plan focused on strengthening faculty capabilities. A key priority will also be ensuring the commercial sustainability of academic programs, while optimising team structures and facilities to meet operational goals. With extensive experience in course development, TEQSA compliance and academic program optimisation, you will play a central role in fostering excellence that drives both academic achievement and commercial success.
