Are you an experienced M&A professional looking to take your career to the next level with a globally respected firm? Grant Thornton Australia is seeking an accomplished Manager or Senior Manager to join their thriving Mergers and Acquisitions practice in Sydney.

The Role
As part of Grant Thornton's global network, you'll help clients achieve their growth ambitions by providing expert advice on mergers and acquisitions, debt and capital raisings, and financial modelling.
You'll join a close-knit, friendly team that brings diverse perspectives and global expertise. The flat organisational structure and genuinely flexible working arrangements are led by Partners who are passionate about supporting your growth as an established M&A specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice to clients across various industries on acquisitions, divestments, private equity transactions and strategic capital raisings
- Prepare financial models and valuation materials
- Manage transaction processes from initial client discussions to completion
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and relationship building
What You'll Need
- Qualification(s) in Business/Commerce, Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline
- Minimum three years' M&A experience in a professional services environment
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
- Problem-solving ability with a solutions-focused mindset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build client relationships
- Advanced Excel skills with interest in data visualisation tools
