We are excited to offer the role of Innovation Manager - ANZ.
The role will lead and execute the successful development of NDP and EDP projects for Australia and support the New Zealnd pipeline planning and stage gate process. Working closely with marketing, category and sales teams on leading priorities for end-to-end projects and ensuring alignment between marketing, product development and commercial teams.
This role reports to the Head of Marketing ANZ.This role has an expectation of working in two of our work sites in NSW - Warriewood and Surry Hills due to regular collaboration work with various teams based in those sites.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver the development and implementation of the ANZ 3-year pipeline in line with global innovation and local market strategy
- Deliver the identification of commercially led innovation opportunities via assessment of brand performance by segment and channel
- Lead with marketing, category and sales teams on priorities for projects, claims and forecasts, ensuring alignment between marketing, product development and commercial teams
- Work with Australia brand, category and sales on commercialisation (CVA & Launch Decision Criteria) for NPD and EPD projects.
- Partner with the Business Activity Managers to ensure product launches are well managed and delivered on-time
- Lead the development and preparation of the stage gate documents for NPD and EPD. Exception is the “Go-to-market” plans in Gate 3 that will be led by the consumer and professional marketing teams
- Provide monthly updates to ANZ leadership team on innovation projects
- Deliver annual and ongoing NPD/EPD budget planning and performance reporting including inputting into post launch performance Reviews
- Support NZ team on the pipeline development and stage gate process.
- Development of Innovation Concept Proposals and preparation of Stage Gate documents for NPD and EPD
- Preparation of pre-gate P&Ls and assessment of commercial feasibility (in consultation with brand team, category team, sales)
- Collaboration with Regulatory Team to ensure the best claims outcomes
- Development of key marketing messages for handover to product, commercial and education teams, ongoing collaboration on development and execution of these messages.
- Sharing quarterly competitor reviews and staying up to date with new products launching and being registered on the ARTG registered

Who are you?
- Possess a backelor's degree Qualifications in natural health and nutrition
- At least 5 years' or more work experience in innovation pipeline delivery, project management and consumer marketing experience
- Experience in innovation strategy, ability to identify commercial gaps in portfolio
- Strong commercial acumen, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create actionable strategy and implement plans.
- Project management across multiple complex projects, portfolios and strategies, preferably in a regulated environment
- Curious and consumer-centric. Embraces creativity, innovation & open to new ideas
- Working knowledge of business financials, demand and product development
- Strong data analysis capability, including working knowledge of Nielsen and ability to interpret consumer insight testing
