About the role
Murray Irrigation has an exciting opportunity for an experienced ICT Manager to lead and oversee our organisations ICT systems. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Based in Deniliquin, this role is an opportunity for someone looking for a rewarding leadership role in a thriving regional setting.
The ICT Manager will be responsible for the operational management of the organisation's ICT systems, infrastructure, and services, ensuring that they run smoothly, securely, and efficiently.
Reporting to the Head of ICT, the successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering the organisation's technology needs, enabling business continuity, and supporting the achievement of strategic ICT objectives as defined by the Head of ICT
What you will need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in ICT management, preferably in a similar-sized organisation.
- Strong knowledge of ICT systems, infrastructure, and services, including servers, networks, databases, and cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a technical team effectively.
- Experience in managing ICT projects from planning to implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
