About the Role
As the In-Charge Radiology Office Administrator , you will be responsible for the seamless operation of our radiology practice. Your role will involve managing the administrative team, optimising workflows, and ensuring outstanding service for patients, radiologists, and referring doctors.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership – Supervise, train, and support reception and administrative staff to maintain efficiency and professionalism.
Patient Experience – Foster a welcoming and professional environment, ensuring superior patient service.
Scheduling & Coordination – Oversee bookings for multiple imaging modalities, maximising resource utilisation.
Communication & Liaison – Serve as the key contact between radiologists, referring doctors, and medical staff, ensuring effective collaboration.
Financial Oversight – Manage billing, payments, and account reconciliations while ensuring compliance with Medicare and other regulations.
Process Improvement – Identify and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Compliance Management – Ensure adherence to all legal, ethical, and procedural standards, including Medicare processes.
Performance Monitoring – Regularly review administrative workflows to align with organisational goals and best practices.
