Restaurant Manager Wanted
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team in the stunning coastal town of Angourie, NSW. If you have a flair for exceptional customer service, an eye for detail and want to lead a wonderful, versatile crew, we want to hear from you.
About Us:
Located in the surfing capital of the east coast just steps away from pristine beaches, Aqua Kitchen and Bar is one of a kind. We are a passionately 100% gluten free establishment that combines fresh, local produce with bold flavours to create food that everyone can enjoy. Everything is made in house so we can ensure quality and flavour and deliver an outstanding product.
We are a full service restaurant, wanting to bring back the level of service that hospitality used to have. We are an all day kitchen open from 7am-4pm 6 days a week as well as Friday and Saturday evenings. Along with this, we offer live music every Sunday creating the perfect relaxed weekend hangout.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven Experience: You’ve been in hospitality management and have experience leading a team, ideally in a similar venue or environment.
• Great Leadership: Leading by example, you inspire, motivate, and guide your team to deliver top-notch service.
• Customer-centric and an eye for detail: You have a natural ability to connect with people and anticipate their needs. You're passionate about giving patrons the best experience possible, because after all, isn't that what we all want? You notice all the details that many miss and guide your team to do the same, creating a culture of excellence and as such, take the customer experience from good to great.
• Confident & Passionate: We are looking for someone forward and confident who will passionately talk about and promote our varying dining experiences to patrons already enjoying the venue. We are definitely in a location where ‘word of mouth’ is king and we need someone who is comfortable with chatting to diners and promoting the business from the floor.
• Team Player: You know how to oversee and collaborate with the kitchen, bar, and back-of-house teams to create a fun, harmonious environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service and an excellent customer experience.
• Lead and train a friendly and efficient team of waitstaff to deliver high quality service and continue creating a culture of excellence.
• Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and customer flow.
• Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and resolve any issues that may arise
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer experience.
• Collaborate with the kitchen as well as the floor and ensure a smooth cohesive working environment
• Communicate with staff to write weekly rosters that try to accommodate staff needs as well as business requirements
• Be an ambassador for the restaurant, promoting what we do and what we offer to patrons already enjoying dining with us. Repeat customers are the best customers!
