As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you’re achieving optimal outcomes for children.

• Rural center located in the outskirts of Boonah, Scenic Rim Shire, on Church Street.
• Highly qualified team of local educators with a supportive Centre Director
• Licensed for 65 children aged six weeks to 12 years.
• Open from 6:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, 52 weeks a year (closed only on public holidays).
• Play-based curriculum following the Early Years’ Learning Framework.
• Programs tailored to individual interests, needs, and strengths of each child.
• Emphasis on preparing children for school.
• Utilises the Storypark platform for clear communication with families.
• Diverse outdoor playground with natural and manmade elements.
• Focus on environmental understanding and sustainability.
• Enriching the learning experience through community engagement.
• Daily art and music experiences for children's creativity.

You’ll need:

Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved) OR Studying towards your qualification
•
Current Qld Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
