About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Claims Team Leader to oversee our claims team, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and industry standards. In this role, you will be responsible for staff training, performance management, and ensuring service delivery aligns with client expectations and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the claims team, providing training and ongoing development.
- Oversee daily team operations, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and feedback.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and communication with all stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and client service level agreements.
- Monitor claims lifecycle, reporting, and adherence to KPIs.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Handle dispute resolution and escalate issues where necessary.
- Participate in audits and compliance checks.
- Experience in a similar role within the insurance building sector is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High-level computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a KPI-driven environment.
- Ability to adapt quickly to process changes and maintain a positive team-player attitude.
