The Office of the Senior Executive Director, Strategy and Performance is a high performing fast paced team, that deliver high-level executive support services to the Senior Executive Director, to senior executive officers of the department, Office of the Deputy-Director General, Cabinet Liaison Office, Office of the Director-General, and the Minister for Department of Youth Justice.As The Executive Officer, You Will Specifically
- Support the Principal Executive Officer, to ensure efficient operation of day-today activities of including coordinating the daily flow of business (including assisting in finance, procurement, and human resources activities).
- Maintain effective time management practices for the Senior Executive Director including mailbox and calendar management, receiving external visitors to the premises.
- Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of the tracking and administrative workflow systems, including office of the Senior Executive Director mailbox management, and registration and, allocation for Ministerial and Executive correspondence via the Mincor system. Delivering Mincor support and training to teams.
- Assist with the coordination and quality assurance of Ministerial and Executive correspondence for the directorate, requests from the Office of the Director-General and internal requests from other areas of the department (including providing advice regarding templates, format, style, and other technical aspects of correspondence preparation).
- Liaise, consult, and maintain effective relationships with executive and senior officers, such as staff of the Office of the Director-General, Deputy Directors- General, Assistant Director-General, team members, internal and external clients, and other stakeholders.
- Encourage an environment in which high quality services are delivered by continually seeking improvements in administrative systems and processes.
