About the Role
- Delivering high quality evidence based clinical assessment and interventions for patients who are impacted by domestic and family violence especially for those who are at high risk of escalation of this violence and/or lethality.
- Provide independent professional judgement and expertise in assessing domestic and family violence risk factors, relevant health information required to assist Brisbane Region High Risk Team with the primary aim to improve responses to victims and their children at high risk of lethality or serious injury as a result of domestic and family violence.
- Assist in developing the health role within an integrated service response model as a designated lead agency by working with local community services and stakeholders, whose role is to respond to the referral, assessment and safety planning for domestic and family violence high risk clients as part of the Brisbane Region High Risk Team.
