The Regional Operations team (Passenger Transport Integration, Translink) has two exciting full-time opportunities available for Regional Managers for the SEQ Region (Gold Coast/ Carseldine) and Central Region (Rockhampton/Mackay).
We are seeking dynamic AO8 Regional Managers (Passenger Transport) to take on a key frontline role with substantial responsibilities in legislation, finance, and human resources. This exciting opportunity calls for a visionary leader who can build strategic alliances and foster strong professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, driving outstanding outcomes in passenger and school transport services.
We are seeking two Regional Managers for the following locations:
1x SEQ Region (Carseldine or Southport Office),
1x Central Region (Mackay or Rockhampton Office),
The successful candidates will have the flexibility to choose their preferred office location from the options listed above.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead teams to successfully deliver passenger and school transport services across the region.
• Develop and empower team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and communication.
• Manage a portfolio of passenger transport service contracts, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Act as the regulatory authority, offering guidance and advice to stakeholders, industry professionals, and customers.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with local stakeholders, transport operators, and other agencies to develop regional transport solutions.
• Work with the Regional Leadership Team to ensure consistent delivery of policies, procedures, and performance across Queensland.
• Oversee the management and reporting of significant events, including natural disasters and other emergencies, ensuring a coordinated response.
About You:
You will be an experienced leader with a proven track record of managing teams and projects and possess a strong understanding of transport services and are adept at navigating complex issues.

Mandatory Requirements:
• Current C class driver's licence.
• Criminal history check will be conducted prior to appointment.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the state.
• Ability to work outside of normal hours in response to natural disasters or emergency events.
