UMS is a leading specialist in custom school uniforms with a well-earned reputation for providing high quality products with excellent service. As a second-generation family business, we are known for our dedication to building long term relationships with our customers.
We have a rare opportunity for an experience retail professional to join the UMS team to facilitate a busy school uniform retail store in the beautiful Gold Coast Region.
hours of Operation are:
- Mon 8am-11.30am
- Tues 8am - 11.30am
- Wednesday 1.30pm-4.30pm
- Thursday 8am-11.30am
- Friday 8am-11.30am
During Peak periods and back to school, hours will be expanded to accommodate customers' requirements.
Activities will include:
- Serving customers and assisting them with uniform selections.
- Monitoring, ordering and receiving of stock
- Processing and packing online orders
- General store tidiness and presentation
- Delivering of uniforms to a close by customer if required
- Banking and accurate record keeping
- Packing stock on shelves
- Attending training sessions as required at HQ
- Stocktaking and other administration duties
- Ability to fill in at other local stores if required from time to time.
- Respond to incoming emails and customer enquiries in a timely manner.
UMS Requirements:
- Be able to communicate well with others in a happy professional manner
- Have outstanding problem-solving skills
- Must be well organised and well presented
- 3+ years customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Current driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Current Blue Card and Police Check will be required
