About the Role
As the Junior Data Analyst for BallyCara, you will play a crucial role in managing and analysing data to support decision-making, improve service delivery, and enhance operational efficiency. This role involves working with various data systems to ensure accurate integration, reporting, and data quality.
As the sector transitions to more data-centric approaches, the Junior Data Analyst will contribute to the development of business intelligence tools and processes that improve both internal operations and the client experience. A passion for data analysis, aged care, and continuous learning is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and analyse data to identify trends and business insights
- Utilise SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI or Tableau
- Support data engineering initiatives to improve data quality and accessibility
- Apply strong commercial awareness to provide valuable business insights
- Work with stakeholders to solve problems and drive data-driven decision-making
- Contribute to the development of business intelligence tools to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with teams to streamline processes
What we’re looking for!
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business, IT, or equivalent
- Knowledge of SQL and Python for data processing
- Intermediate Excel skills for data analysis
- Interest in data engineering and improving data structures
- A solutions-focused mindset with a proactive approach
- Strong understanding of financial principles and business impact
- Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau) would be highly regarded
- A passion for data-driven decision-making in the aged care sector
