Electrical/Electronic Production Technicians

Description:

We are currently recruiting for a number of Electrical and Electronic technicians to form part of our clients technician team responsible for production, overhaul, repair and testing of products, including:

• Electrical systems
• Wiring
• Electronics Assembly
• Electro-Mechanical Assembly

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

• Cert II in electronics
• Cert II in electrotechnology
• Cert III in electronics and Communication
• Forklift Licence
• Experience in electronics and/or mechanical manufacture and assembly
• Knowledge and understanding of technical information and drawings

Responsibilities:

• Carry out work overhaul assembly and testing of electrical and mechanical systems as directed by the operations Manager / Production Supervisor
• Interpret plans, drawings and job set out
• Complete work orders in an accurate and timely fashion
• Take responsibility for assigned area and nearby area presentation.
• Receive, inspect and store products and materials
• Notify Production Manager and/or Supervisor of non-conformances and incidents
• Conduct or coordinate inspections and tests
• Identify and report safety and environmental risks, hazards and incidents
• Complete production documentation including repair reports and work orders.
• Ensure that work standards, safe work and environmental protection practices are maintained
