About Us
We are seeking a Japanese Speaking Assistant Accoutant for our client, a global Japanese company, This position is responsible for providing accounting and administravie support based in Melbourne CBD.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibility includes:
• Performing bookkeeping and journal entries using MYOB and Excel.
• Generating monthly management reports including Balance Sheets and Profit and Loss statements
• Generating monthly BAS (GST) reports.
• Creating quarterly PAYG (Income Statement) reports.
• Prepare payments such as cheques or TT, and managing banking activities.
• Assisting the manager and team members with various tasks.
• Undertaking general office administration duties
Your Profile
In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:
• Japanese and English language skills
• Prior MYOB or similar accounting system experience (preferred)
• Experience or knowledge in accounting is a must
• Microsoft Office skills
• Attention to details
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in IT with the ability to quickly adapt to new technology will be a plus
• Ability to work within a team and flexibility to take on various duties
