Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Planning Administrator to join our Fortitude Valley practice. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients and provides essential administrative support to our Financial Advisers and Accountancy Practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-level administrative support to the financial advisory and accounting teams
- Acting as the first point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Managing and maintaining client records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assisting with payment processing, account reconciliations, and generating financial reports
- Preparing and sending invoices, correspondence, and documentation as required
- Collaborating effectively across all aspects of financial planning, taxation, and investment management
- Supporting Financial Advisers with documentation, compliance, and reporting needs
- Handling general office management duties in a low client traffic environment with occasional phone activity
Requirements:
Experience in financial planning administration or a related financial services role is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience with Xero and other financial software is advantageous
Ability to work independently while also being a team player
Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
