We uniquely lead with culture and story, and immerse in the powerful diverse landscapes of kunanyi - for the health and wellbeing of each participant and our community. kMR has now been running for four years.
Role Description:A social media storyteller, who will create compelling and engaging content for kMR’s Instagram and Facebook accounts, over event weekend. You will have strong reel production skills (and photography skills a bonus) and a good understanding of digital marketing. You will be able to produce high quality content with quick turn-arounds.
Key Responsibilities:Capture & share the stories of kMR2025 in reels:Film and edit basic interviews, and b-roll at kMR’s runHub Manage video from on-course/aid stations (supplied by volunteers/kMR team), and edit Content will include:Run starts/finishesSmoking ceremonieskMR Partner activities at the runHub (ie City of Hobart’s BushCare team, Kieser massages etc)60-90 second ‘interviews’ to share stories of various kMR participants (ie a first timer at kMR, aid station captain, inspirational finisher etc)Your own hardware and software relevant to the position, and experience in it’s use to deliver the requirements of the role efficiently and productively
Skills and Attributes:Ability to work in a small team, collaboratively and independently, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines. Enthusiasm, positivity, integrity and self-motivation.Attention to detail, sense of humour and curiosity.Excellent verbal communication skills.Ability to take direction but also be self-sufficient and apply common sense to allocated tasks where needed.
