ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

Term Time Only - 44 weeks per year

Monday to Friday

About the Role

We are seeking an administrative assistant to provide administrative support to College staff and be the first point of contact for all parents, visitors and contractors.

This position requires a candidate who will be professional, friendly, and willing to go above and beyond to provide the best possible service and outcomes; someone with experience working in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to reflect the highest levels of professionalism and discretion, while being a positive presence in the workplace.

About You

To be considered an ideal applicant for this position, you will have:

  • Previous reception, administration, and customer service experience in a busy school environment
  • An understanding of school software and operating systems
  • Excellent prioritisation and time management skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Excellent computer skills plus experience in the use of the MS Office suite and Adobe PDF products
  • A strong focus on attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • The ability to engage with staff in a manner that fosters a positive organisational culture

Essential Requirements:

  • A current first aid qualification
  • A working with Vulnerable Persons registration
  • A qualification in Business Administration would be advantageous

Classification

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024

Salary based on the term time equivalent (44 weeks per year):

Business Services Level 3, Salary Point 1: $52,659.20 to Business Services Level 3, Salary Point 5: $59,395.45 p.a.
