More Opportunities is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engagement Officer – Reporting and Policy to join our dynamic team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work with both our Western Australia and Tasmania team, ensuring that NDIS policies, legislation, and compliance are met with the utmost accuracy and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Compliance: Ensure the NDIS documentation meets all legislative requirements in both Western Australia and Tasmania. Implement and maintain robust processes to guarantee compliance across all areas.
Reporting and Policy Updates: Regularly prepare and submit detailed reports, monitor policy changes, and ensure timely updates in line with NDIS guidelines and legislative changes.
Restrictive Practice Implementation: Strong focus on the development, implementation, and reporting of restrictive practices in compliance with NDIS regulations. Ensure all restrictive practices are documented, assessed, and reported correctly.
Legislative Knowledge: Stay up to date with NDIS legislation, including any changes that affect policy and reporting procedures across Western Australia and Tasmania.
Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail when compiling, reviewing, and reporting documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all legal requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, your fellow team members, and government agencies, to ensure smooth implementation of NDIS policies.
Exit Processing: Manage and process exit plans for participants leaving the NDIS, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed, and compliance standards are met.
Care Plan Updates: Regularly review and update care plans for participants to ensure they remain relevant and in line with NDIS standards, reflecting the evolving needs of individuals.
Key Requirements:
Experience in NDIS or related fields with a solid understanding of NDIS legislation, reporting standards, and compliance procedures.
• Strong background in restrictive practice implementation and reporting, ensuring compliance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
• Experience with exit processing and managing participant transitions within the NDIS framework.
• Excellent report writing and documentation skills, with the ability to maintain accuracy and consistency across reports.
• Knowledge of legislation affecting NDIS in both Western Australia and Tasmania , with the ability to adapt and update processes accordingly.
• Exceptional attention to detail , ensuring all policies, reports, and documents comply with legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external parties.
