Description:
- Multiple full time or part time, fixed term positions available across the University’s metropolitan campuses
- Provide administrative support to professional and academic units
- Salary: $72,943 per annum (full time equivalent) + 17% superannuation
We currently have multiple opportunities available for skilled administrators to contribute to the success of professional and academic units across the University. Working in a team, you will provide high level support to ensure smooth operations of the unit, and make a positive impact.
Positions are fixed term with various contract lengths, and located across the City West, City East, Mawson Lakes and Magill campuses. Full and part time opportunities are available at the HEO4 level.
About the Roles
Duties may include:
- Service delivery – prioritise and prepare responses for face to face, telephone and email enquiries, manage information requests, interpreting policy and data to respond to queries
- Academic services – maintaining course materials, producing study plans (in consultation with academic staff), timetabling, collating and uploading results
- Project and event support – preparing event/communication plans, reviewing budgets, coordinating meetings
- Executive support – diary management, coordinating travel, distributing agendas and taking minutes, undertaking financial reconciliation
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience working as an administrator in a team-based environment, or supporting senior managers in an administrative support role
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing demands
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively and sensitively with all stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in using the Microsoft Office suite of programs and records management systems
