About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Deputy Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and management of collection rosters and workforce planning, in addition to supporting collection staff with day to day operational matters, helpdesk enquiries and general support. You will be allocated a specific geographical region to manage and will work with other Coordinators and Territory Managers to effectively manage rosters, people and the delivery of high quality services. This position involves a high attention to detail as well as the ability to take direction and follow instructions. Duties:
- Enter and verify daily shift adjustments via UKG;
- Coordinate short notice sick leave replacement;
- Coordination and distribution of rosters;
- Work with Collection Coordinators on workforce planning;
- Management of leave applications;
- Analyse rostered hours to ensure adherence with the enterprise agreement and contracted hours;
- Assist with preparation of accuracy of timesheets for the Pay Office;
- Manage staff enquiries regarding rosters and changes to rosters;
- Support collection staff with day-to-day operational matters and general collection centre and eCollect enquires;
- Build relationships with staff to support operations and service excellence; and
- Assist with day-to-day workflow as required.
Applicants should possess the following:
- Previous experience rostering via UKG (Kronos) - preferred but not essential;
- Previous rostering/payroll experience - preferred not essential;
- Ability to work 6am to 2pm, Monday to Friday (based within the Hallett Cove Shopping Centre)
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite with intermediate or advanced skills in Excel;
- Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines;
- Demonstrated attention to detail;
- Demonstrated excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;
- Proven ability to work independently and identify efficiencies and improvements;
- Polished and professional telephone manner;
- Ability to communicate in a concise and articulate manner;
- Ability to work in a team environment and, when required, to work autonomously;
- Ability to work flexible hours across the department as required; and
- Ability to interpret instructions and provide feedback to ensure systems, procedures and processes are maintained at the highest standard.
