Fire and Safety Australia and seeking EOI for an experienced ESO for an ongoing role in the oil and gas sector located in South Australia. This is a 2:2 roster FIFO from Adelaide or Brisbane.
About the Role:
EOI for an experienced ESO on a 2:2 roster, ongoing position. This role can be FIFO from Adelaide or Brisbane
Essential Requirements:
• HR Drivers Licence
• Operate 4WD
• Manual Handling
• Cert III Emergency Response and Rescue /Cert III Public Safety (Firefighting Operations)
• Road Crash Rescue/HAZMAT/Open Circuit Breathing Apparatus/Aviation firefighting
• Vertical/Confined Space rescue
• Current Advanced First Aid
• Police Clearance - 3 months
• Collect Specimens
Desired Qualifications:
• NAFS III - Extinguishing agent handling licence
• Inspection and servicing of fire extinguishers and panels
• Inspection, calibration and servicing of gas detection equipment
• Servicing of onsite breathing apparatus and respirators
• Aviation fire fighting
• Coxswain
Required Experience:
• Proven significant operational experience within the fire and rescue industry, preferably within a resource sector
• Proven operational expertise in industrial fire, rescue and emergency operational concepts, procedures and systems
• Proven operational Aviation firefighting Experience
• Highly disciplined with exceptional communication and organisational skills
• Proven high-risk experience; including rescue planning, gas testing, permit issuer/user
• Delivery and assessment of training to personnel filling part-time emergency response roles
