State Library has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional.As a senior member of our small and dynamic People and Culture team, you will work closely within the team, and with internal and external clients to deliver trusted HR advice, services, projects and capability development initiatives that support State Library's objectives.
A key focus of this role will be providing high-level human resource advisory services to leaders and staff.
The role will be providing expert HR advice and consultancy services, partnering with senior managers and teams. The role will ideally have experience in interpreting and applying public sector legislation, directives, policies and agreements, particularly regarding complex and sensitive employment relations matters. The role will undertake case management of more complex matters and be involved in the development and implementation of a range of HR related project activity, including capability development and process improvement initiatives in accordance with our Strategic Workforce Plan.
