About the role and where you will be working:
We are seeking an Exercise Physiologist to join our Allied Health Team in Southern Cross Care WA. While this role will be based in East Fremantle, there is also a significant caseload based in the community, with home visits being a regular part of your workload.
Your responsibilities will include providing exercise physiology services to our clients of the Health and Wellness Centre and in the community. You will support a mixed caseload of clients and utilise your clinical skills to provide high quality practice to ensure optimal person-centred outcomes.
We’ll also be asking you to: -
- Provide exercise physiology services to existing and new clients that aligns with client goals and wellness.
- Utilise clinical reason and evidence-based practice to ensure clinical standards are met and maintained.
- Maintain clinical documentation
- Liaise with other team members to develop well-coordinated holistic treatment for clients.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all clients
About you:
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be an accredited Exercise Physiologist with a relevant Bachelor's degree. You will ideally have an understanding of Aged Care standards, and able to demonstrate a high level of quality clinical care. You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to time manage and organise your day well. Most importantly, you'll have a genuine desire to make a difference in our residents' lives.
To be considered for this role, you’ll need:
- A Bachelor's degree as an Exercise Physiologist (and be registered with your governing body).
- Demonstrate a high level of quality clinical care.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to make clients feel at ease.
- A valid Australian driver's license.
- Aged Care knowledge/experience is highly desirable.
