About The Role And Where You Will Be Working

Our team at Southern Plus East Fremantle is expanding, and we are seeking Casual Care Workers to work our morning, nights and afternoon shifts!

As a Care Worker, you’ll be playing an important role in assisting residents with activities of daily living, including social and communal needs. You will ensure quality outcomes for all of our residents under supervision of your supervisor.

This is a permanent part time relief position to cover various leave.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Maintain continuity of care by reading and following care plans.
  • Complete domestic duties as required.
  • Communicate resident care needs to the supervisors on a daily basis.
  • Contribute in creating a safe and friendly environment for all our residents.
  • Show compassion & exercise patience.

About You

Currently working or volunteering in the community and wanting different hours?

Or have you recently completed studies and are ready to start a new career in the aged care sector?

You’re comfortable working on your own & in a team environment and enjoy spending time with elderly people.

To be considered for this role, you’ll need:-

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care/ Individual Care or equivalent.
  • Initiative & the ability to effectively prioritise & multitask.
  • Great communication skills (spoken & written).
  • Attention to detail for good record keeping.
  • Morning and afternoon availability is desirable.
