Join Our Team as a Senior Physiotherapist!
Are you a dedicated and experienced Physiotherapist looking to make a significant impact in patient care? We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team.
We currently have 1.5 permanent General Medical Senior Physiotherapist positions available, as well as Acute Gerontology Senior Physiotherapist fixed term position covering parental leave becoming available.
About the Role: As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will:
- Provide expert Physiotherapy services in Acute Care, including the Emergency Department, General Medicine, Acute Medical Unit, and Aged Care.
- Ensure all practices align with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and SMHS policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Support the Head of Department and Deputy Head of Department in supervising and mentoring P1 Physiotherapy staff.
- Act as a clinical consultant and resource for Physiotherapists and other health professionals.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient safety and quality of care initiatives.
