Our valued client is a long-established and busy Public Accounting Practice in Subiaco. This boutique practice provides its staff with a professional and friendly environment, parking, necessary training and a close-knit team. A new permanent, full-time role has become available for a Receptionist and Administrator. If you have previous administration experience in the Accounting/Finance Sector or perhaps you are keen to receive training in this sector after working in another professional environment, this would be an ideal opportunity for you. The main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Be the first point of contact and front-of-house, greeting clients and offering hospitalityAnswering and directing all inbound telephone General filing & data entryMaintaining Registers Ordering stationery, maintaining office suppliesManagement of the mail and couriersBanking (practice banking and also client banking)Petty cash purchases Printing and collating tax returns to be sent to clientsLodging tax returns Checking tax assessments and generating client lettersMaintaining office debtors’ system Using BGL corporate software, MYOB AE and ATO and ASIC Training in areas you have not experienced can be provided as long as you have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, above-average computing skills and a desire to learn while providing superior customer service and working as part of a happy, professional team. Normal hours of work are 9am to 5pm and the salary will depend on your experience and skills.
