Our client is a well-known and progressive mining company with operations throughout Australia. Known for fostering a fantastic culture they are seeking a HR Officer to join them as they enhance their footprint in the Western Australian mining sector.
The Opportunity:
This presents as an exciting opportunity for a HR Officer or HR Administrator to take the next step in their career and join an innovative and supportive mining company.
You will be reporting to the HR Superintendent and support the HR function where your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Assisting the Human Resources team with delivering transactional HR processes such as contract variations, maintaining registers and regular reporting.
- First point of contact for employees and leaders on payroll, entitlement and HR matters.
- Undertaking Purchase Orders in Pronto.
- Supporting and assisting with enquiries in relation to the HRIS system, Success Factors.
- Undertaking HR related project work to increase support function across the site.
- Assist in the delivery (and continuous improvement of) cyclical events such as the performance cycle, annual remuneration review and incentive payments.
- Assist with preparing employee correspondence for changes in employment conditions, including for roster changes, promotions, and transfers.
- Relevant industry qualifications
- Previous site-based HR experience - Desirable, not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain good working relationships at all levels of the business.
- High level of numeracy and strong excel skills.
- Current C Class manual drivers licence.
