Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled Crane Operator Specialists with 5–10 years of experience to join our team. The role involves operating heavy-duty cranes in compliance with safety regulations, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of lifting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes to lift, move, position, and secure loads in accordance with safety regulations and project requirements.
- Monitor plant operations and adjust controls to regulate pressure, speed, and flow, ensuring the safety of all workers on-site.
- Raise, lower, and manipulate attachments using manual and hydraulic controls.
- Transport various sizes of equipment across the site and local areas.
- Assist with rigging duties when required, ensuring safe and secure lifting operations.
- Conduct routine crane inspections, raising notifications for any equipment issues and utilizing SAP for daily reporting.
- Prepare and position plant for operation, ensuring readiness and safety before use.
- Ensure adherence to mine site safety standards at all times.
- 5+ years with a solid track record of crane operation.
- Experience working with OEM brands such as Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr, CAT, Cummins, and Detroit Diesel.
- Valid high-risk work license
- Basic SAP experience is advantageous.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and best practices in crane operation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills.
- Fluency in English is required.
- A passion for the safe execution of work and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Equal time rosters with all accommodation arrangements provided.
- FIFO opportunities from Perth & Surrounds, with 8/6 or 2/1 rosters.
