- Must be located in Perth WA
- A valid construction induction card (White Card).
- Knowledge of different rigging techniques and equipment. Understanding of relevant safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks associated with the role.
- Ability to interpret and relay hand signals accurately.
- Your primary responsibility will be to assist crane operators and riggers in safely lifting, moving, and positioning heavy loads on construction sites.
- Communicating with crane operators using hand signals or two-way radios to ensure precise and safe movement of loads.
- Rigging and attaching loads to cranes using appropriate slings, shackles, and other rigging equipment.
- Inspecting rigging equipment regularly and reporting any defects or concerns. Directing and guiding the crane operator during lifting operations. Ensuring that the lifting area is clear of any obstructions and that safety measures are in place.
- Assisting in the assembly and disassembly of cranes and other lifting equipment. Adhering strictly to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
