Senior Project Manager - Enterprise Data Platform Transformation
We are working with one of our banking clients to recruit an expert Senior Project Manager. You will be perfect for this role if you have experience in the Banking and Financial industry AND proven experience leading and managing an Enterprise Level Data Platform project. This is an initial 12 month contract with a high likelihood of extension.
Must haves:

• 10+ years of experience in IT project management, covering all aspects of project development and execution.
• Proven ability to manage both technical and business stakeholders effectively.
• 5+ years of experience leading data transformation programs, with a strong grasp of Data Lake concepts (from ingestion to serving).
• Solid understanding of data modeling techniques.
• Strong project governance expertise, including Jira management, capacity planning, estimation, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience overseeing multiple parallel delivery streams.
• Familiarity with AWS and GCP cloud platforms, integrations, and data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Extensive expertise in cloud platforms, including Oracle and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), as well as BI tools like Power BI.
• In-depth knowledge of large-scale program and project management, applying appropriate methodologies.
• Strong end-to-end project delivery skills, from initiation to post-implementation.
• Commercial awareness and business acumen, with the ability to apply these effectively in project delivery.
• Proven ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on developing and motivating teams.
• A growth mindset with a continuous improvement and innovation-driven approach.
• Willingness to challenge existing processes constructively to drive positive change.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex business problems and drive actionable decisions.
• Adaptable, reflective, and flexible working style.
