Contract Duration: 6 Months Initially (Extension Likely to 12 Months)

Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering technology products and managing complex external vendor relationships? We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead the delivery of multiple technology-based projects across Australia and New Zealand for a high-impact transformation program.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of two critical products.

You will manage the product roadmap, stakeholder engagement, and vendor relationships while ensuring the successful transition of solutions into external vendors or third-party providers.

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Lead the delivery of technology products from concept to productionisation

• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and issues without the support of analysts or coordinators

• Tailor delivery approaches using a hybrid Agile/Waterfall (WAGY) model

• Ensure seamless handover of products to external vendors/third parties

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Engage and influence senior stakeholders across Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland

• Collaborate with internal architects, technical teams, and vendors to ensure successful delivery

• Act as the primary point of contact for vendor management and external customer interactions

Executive Communication & Reporting

• Distill complex project information into clear and concise executive-level updates

• Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations for senior stakeholders

Roadmap & Process Improvement

• Contribute to future capacity planning and roadmap execution

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to optimise project delivery

• Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering technology or product-based projects
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Waterfall hybrid delivery models
• Proven ability to manage external vendors/third-party providers during project transitions
• Product development or product management experience, ideally with metering or similar systems
• Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills
• Ability to distill complexity into clear executive-level communications
• Industry experience in energy, utilities, telco, or engineering is highly desirable
