- Salary Level HEW6 ($90,280 - $97,724) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
- Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working
About You
As the Talent Integrity and Contracts Adviser you will partner with senior stakeholders across the university to support a variety of appointments including internal and external employment contracts, academic promotions, honorary appointments and additional employment letters for new and existing Executive, Academic, Professional and TAFE staff. You will liaise with stakeholders and colleagues across the wider People team on complex contract matters which may involve understanding, interpreting and communicating RMIT’s relevant policies and Enterprise Agreements. Additionally, the Talent Integrity and Contracts Adviser will partner with relevant stakeholders to manage the end-to-end process for all Internal Direct Appointments.
You will have a strong commitment to RMIT’s Talent Integrity and compliance procedures and govern RMIT’s pre-employment processes to ensure we are meeting all state and federal government obligations and legislative requirements. You will contribute to continuous improvement activities by assisting with system testing of the Recruitment and Onboarding modules, provide end user training for successful implementation of new processes and technologies and participate in projects as Subject Matter Expert (SME), as required. As the Talent Integrity and Contracts Adviser, you will also take responsibility for managing visa related queries through the preparation of visa documentation and liaison with Migration Service Provider, and the College areafor a range of international hires and honorary visiting academic appointments.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have as a minimum:
- Proven ability to prioritise multiple tasks to meet conflicting deadlines with strong attention to detail
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in a customer service environment within a large complex environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on managing customer expectations
- Demonstrated commitment to quality assurance, compliance and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to show initiative and creativity in solving problems
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and to influence clients and stakeholders, and to build relationships with customer groups
- Demonstrated experience in the use of a range of computer applications and the ability to quickly learn new technologies, including Microsoft Office Programs, e-recruitment and onboarding systems including Workday, highly desirable.
- Proven experience and understanding of Employment contract law as well as Immigration legislation and sponsorship undertakings, highly desirable
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the development and delivery of contemporary recruitment, selection and employee onboarding practices
