About the opportunity
Position: Senior Business Support Officer
Vacancy: Fixed Term Temporary Full-time from 23/06/2025 up to 26/07/2026 (with the possibility of extension - up to an additional six months)
Location: Business Unit, Townsville University Hospital

Remuneration package of up to $131,052 p.a.
- Salary range: $105,568 - $114,861 p.a. (AO5)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About the role
- Provide professional services and advice in relation to financial management to departmental managers and Business Services Manager within a complex multi-disciplinary service.
- Provide professional financial management services and advice in relation to the management of trust accounts, capital development and asset management within the service group.
- Assist in the development of complex documentation for decision by Service Group executive (briefing papers, concept briefs, business cases, operational planning, and funding submissions) and research activity and costing data to support submissions for new initiatives.
Role requirements
- Skills and experience in business and/or statistical analysis and presentation are essential and tertiary qualifications in these fields while not mandatory would be well regarded. If the successful candidate holds tertiary qualifications relevant to the position, a certified copy of the qualification must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to the commencement of duties.
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
