About the opportunity:
Position: Business Support Officer
Vacancy: Permanent full-time
Location: Finance and Business Support Unit, Surgical Services Group, Townsville University Hospital
The Business Support Officer is responsible for ensuring that business support services are delivered efficiently and effectively in accordance with strategic directions and operational guidelines of the Surgical Service Group and Townsville Hospital and Health Service. The role is accountable for on-time, high quality output and engagement together with alignment and compliance with organisational and departmental administrative and support policies and standards.
This essential role operates in a dynamic, demanding and complex environment, and is required to support a high volume of both proactive and reactive requests while providing timely, thorough and accurate advice, and coordinating the delivery of service group activities including administrative, financial, human resource and business management services.

- Salary range: $3481.60 to $3835.70 p.f. (AO4)
- 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
