About the roleSouth West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a dual qualified Registered Nurse/Midwife to coordinate all non-admitted maternity and gynaecology services provided at SWH. This includes antenatal care and classes, domiciliary, infant feeding and gynaecology clinics. The Manager of the Women's Health service has the responsibility for all of the clinics offered at the Women's Health Service. The Manager will provide dynamic leadership, governance, and management of each clinic. Responsibilities include strategic planning for future growth and the monitoring of existing clinics ensuring they are operating safely, efficiently, and effectively. The manager will implement business plans where required, manage staff, and ensure operational management of these clinics are meeting national standards and all data requirements.
Position overview
* Employment Type: Part-time (32 hours per fortnight), On-going position
* Location: Warrnambool Campus
* Classification: Nurse/Midwife Manager Not Elsewhere Classified
* Salary Range: $125,288.80 pro rata, plus superannuation
What you bring
* A Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife holding a current Registration Certificate as required by AHPRA.
* A minimum of four years post graduate nursing experience.
* Demonstrated highly developed organisational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Demonstrated finance and budget skills.
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
* High proficiency in using, demonstrating and reporting in Information Technology (IT) solutions.
* Experience in relevant healthcare accreditation.
* Demonstrated management ability particularly in the areas of service rationalisation, change management, human resource, financial management and strategic planning in an Ambulatory Care setting
* Relevant postgraduate/tertiary qualifications in Management
