Join our team as a 2IC at Busy Bees at Glenroy, where you'll be part of a dynamic service offering 75 places. Our fabulous Glenroy service, located 15 minutes from the Melbourne airport and close driving distance to various shopping centers and public transportation, is a beautifully designed service. Their team of dedicated staff constantly strive to build trusting partnerships with each other and with the children and families.
Our service is looking for a dynamic, confident and experienced leader in the Early Childhood Industry to join our management team as a Assistant Service Manager . Someone who strives to excel and leads by example, setting high industry standards for their team.
Role : 2IC Service Manager
Salary: $38.15 - $39.39 (hourly)
Location : Glenroy, VIC, Australia

Essential Qualifications
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification as recognized by ACECQA.
- A current and valid Blue card.
- First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
Skills and Attributes
- Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to assist in ensuring quality practices and outcomes.
- Ability to support, mentor and lead a team of educators in the absence of the Service Manager.
- Capability to assist in managing daily operations, from staffing to parent communications.
- Ability to effectively address and resolve issues that may arise within the service.
- Experience in a Service 2IC, Assistant Director, Assistant Service Manager or similar role within an early childhood setting.
- Proficiency in using relevant management software and tools for communication, documentation and reporting.
- Skills to address and mediate challenges or disputes that might arise among staff or with families.
