About the role
This casual relief role is based in the Sunshine Coast region and is responsible for the movement of furniture and goods in and out of the Sunshine Coast Family Stores and the Caloundra warehouse.
The role will aid in the overall productivity of the Family Stores and warehouse, in line with The Salvation Army mission.
You will successfully
- Undertake the pickup and delivery of furniture and goods in accordance with the daily schedule.
- Provide excellent service as a primary customer contact for the Sunshine Coast Family Stores.
- Understand and determine the value of brands, quality furniture and products.
- Provide retail floor assistance in store as needed including moving furniture and stock.
You will have
- Current valid Driver’s Licence.
- Minimum 2 yrs experience in driving commercial vehicles.
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
- A good level of fitness to carry out the duties of the position. This position will require physical ability to lift and carry furniture, stand, sit and walk for long periods time.

Compensation is in accordance with General Retail Award Level 2.
