The purpose of this role is to implement a pro-active, specialised approach to the management of whole person impairment (WPI) claims and provide technical guidance in relation to the strategic management of whole person impairment (WPI) claims.
This will be a permanent, full time position based in our Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home up to two days a week once fully trained.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the worker and employer with the Whole Person Impairment process and providing support in the completion of relevant documents
- Manage all Permanent Impairment claims in accordance with applicable guidelines, procedures and timeframes to make decisions regarding payments.
- Demonstrate effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders as measured by feedback from key stakeholders and outcomes on claims
- Support relationships with external legal providers and clients while also attending conciliation and court hearings as required
ABOUT YOU
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with stakeholders effectively.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and an understanding of the Impairment Assessment Guideline is desirable
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills to support decision-making.
- A background in legal, business, or allied health, providing a well-rounded approach to complex cases.
