Chisholm is seeking an experienced safety leader for our Safety Governance & Assurance.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Manager Safety Governance & Assurance your key accountabilities will be:- Leading and managing the effective implementation of safety management systems, policies and procedures.
- Lead the management of the audit and assurance program.
- Manage Chisholm’s Safety Committee
- Takes the lead in written reporting to Chisholm’s Board, Audit & Risk Management Committee (ARMC), and Executive Leadership Group.
- Ensuring Chisholm’s Occupational Health and Safety Management Plan is integrated, auditable and robust.
- Work closely with the Manager Student Safety, all members of the safety team to champion and support the implementation of Chisholm’s Safety Framework.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of safety governance frameworks, and a track record of driving continuous improvement in safety assurance processes.
Crucial to your success will be your proven track record in leadership and safety management. You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders in a highly collegiate manner.
Qualifications required for the role:
- Relevant qualifications, experience and/or certifications in occupational health and safety or a related relevant discipline.
- Certified under the Australian Institute of Health & Safety, or willing to become certified.
