As a Claims Specialist, you will provide early, timely and personal service to workers, employers and stakeholders whilst providing an empathetic customer experience through a specialisation in complex claims. You will focus on customer service and support to all stakeholders to provide pro-active, tailored, timely and effective management of specialised claims.
This will be a permanent, full time positionbased in our Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week once fully trained.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pro-actively manage rehabilitation providers and approval of rehabilitation plans/wellness plans in accordance with guidelines.
- Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders regularly to progress strategies and actions.
- Develop strong customer relationships and provide a high level of customer service to all stakeholders
- Engage in employer claims reviews where requested and maintain regular contact with the employer, EML account manager and/or primary EML claims specialist for a policy
ABOUT YOU
- Tertiary studies in Allied Health in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Psychology or Rehab Counselling is advantageous but not mandatory
- Demonstrates strong customer service focus with exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Displays strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to assess challenges and implement effective solutions
- Communicates clearly and effectively both in writing and verbally to build strong connections with stakeholders
