Are you an experienced oncology nurse with a passion for guiding patients through their cancer journey? Do you thrive in a role where you can provide expert clinical support , collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and make a meaningful impact on patient care?

Cabrini Health is seeking a dedicated Oncology Liaison Nurse to be a key advocate and support system for our oncology and haematology patients. In this role, you will work closely with specialists, nursing teams, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless, compassionate, and coordinated care from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to patients at every stage of their cancer journey.

  • Collaborate with medical specialists, nursing teams, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.

  • Act as a trusted clinical resource , offering expertise on symptom management and best-practice oncology care.

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including nurse managers and oncology consultants across Cabrini.

  • Support service improvement initiatives to enhance patient care pathways .

About you:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Oncology (or currently working towards).

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

  • 8+ years of acute nursing experience , with significant experience in oncology and haematology.

  • Strong understanding of contemporary oncology care and best practices .

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for patient advocacy.
