Opportunity


WEM has a rewarding opportunity for a Landscape Tradesperson to join the team.


We have a strong portfolio of work with multiple projects underway across Sydney's Northwest and Southwest. This role requires travel to job sites across the area.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the set-out and construction of hardscape structures, including footpaths, retaining walls, and stone features, bringing landscapes to life.
  • Operate small plant and equipment to execute tasks efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • Prepare and install turf, trees, shrubs, and hedges, shaping vibrant outdoor spaces.
  • Install drainage systems, fencing, and essential infrastructure for subdivision projects.
  • Ensure worksites are clean, organised, and operating smoothly, with tools and equipment properly maintained.
  • Strictly follow safety regulations and statutory requirements, including Local Council and EPA guidelines.
  • Lead and mentor Landscape Labourers, sharing expertise and fostering a skilled, motivated team.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:



  • Relevant Certificate or Diploma in Landscaping or Horticulture, or 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry and processes
  • Experience operating commercial equipment (e.g., mowers, diggers, bobcats, and hand machinery)
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork
  • Proficiency in using a smartphone for completing daily timesheets
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Ability to guide and support Landscape Labourers in day-to-day tasks
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality standards
  • Proactive, with the ability to use initiative
  • Construction White Card
  • Valid Driver's Licence with flexibility to travel between job sites
